The price adjustments never stop, and as per the latest report, AMD might implement another price hike.

AMD is Reportedly Implementing a 10% Price Hike for Radeon GPUs; Informs its Partners to Expect Higher Prices for GPU and Memory Bundles

This might be the 3rd time this year we are hearing about a price hike on the AMD Radeon GPUs. While the report doesn't include or exclude the previous-gen GPUs, it's likely that the report concerns the latest RDNA 4, aka Radeon RX 9000 series. If you remember, last week we reported that AMD might be planning a new price hike on its RX 9000 series in the second half.

The latest report just confirms that. However, there is a slight change. As per the previous report, the price hike was said to be 10-15%, but the latest information confirms a 10% price increase for the Radeon GPUs. In both cases, the source is the same, i.e., Board Channels. The supply source has informed that AMD has issued a price increase notice to its board partners.

Major board partners like ASUS, XFX, and Sapphire have reportedly received the information on the new price adjustment by Team Red, which is expected to be implemented this month. This coincides with the previous report, and it's said that AMD will now ship the GPU and memory bundles to AIBs at a 10% higher cost compared to the current prices.

Whether AIBs pass the cost to the consumers or not remains unclear, but it's likely that the GPUs are going to be more expensive in the coming days. Once again, this report excludes any information on NVIDIA GPUs, particularly the RTX 50 series cards. Previous reports indicated that NVIDIA hasn't planned to implement a new price hike, but given that VRAM costs are still rising, it's likely to expect another price hike by NVIDIA as well.
