AMD's Radeon RX 9070 series has finally been unveiled in China, revealing official retail pricing, and the XT model surely looks exciting here.
AMD's RX 9070 GPUs Gets Launched In China Twelve Hours Prior To Official Showcase; Pricing Comes As Expected
Team Red's RDNA 4 GPUs and their respective pricing are no longer a mystery, as the lineup has been showcased by AMD China (via HXL & Golden Pig Upgrade). The event was apparently exclusive to AMD's AIB and media partners, and the key takeaway with the launch was the disclosure of official pricing. Based on the event details, it is claimed that the Radeon RX 9070 XT will retail for 4999 RMB (~$690) or around $699, while the non-XT counterpart will go for 4499 RMB (~$620), which is almost on-par with what the rumors had claimed in the past.

It is important to note that the above pricing is for Chinese markets, and the global launch is still a few hours away. While at most times, they are pretty consistent, still, factoring in the regional taxes, the pricing could go higher for some regions, like the EU. Interestingly, AMD also showcased their RX 9070 reference model at the event, coming in both dual and triple-fan configurations, but as reported earlier, they won't be available for retail markets, at least during the initial period of the launch.
Comparing these prices with NVIDIA's Blackwell 70-class counterparts, the RX 9070 non-XT is equal to the GeForce RTX 5070 in MSRPs, but we all know how the availability is with the RTX 50 series GPUs. However, the Radeon RX 9070 XT holds a far greater value compared againstt RTX Blackwell, marking almost a 20% price difference from the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, and a significantly better price-to-performance ratio with the GeForce RTX 4080, which is said to be on-par with in synthetic workloads.
Now, we await the global launch, which is said to occur in a few hours from now, and that would most likely put an end to all the rumors surrounding the RDNA 4 launch.
