AMD's Radeon RX 9060 XT surfaces in the EEC listings, revealing 8 GB and 16 GB VRAM configurations, similar to what NVIDIA will do with the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti.

AMD's RX 9060 XT Is Ready To Tackle NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5060 Ti With Similar Specifications; Expected To Debut By Q2

Well, it seems like the mainstream GPU segment race is very much up and running, and with the unveiling of AMD's RX 9070 series, the balance is definitely titled towards Team Red. However, details surrounding AMD's "budget-oriented" RX 9060 lineup are slim for now, and apart from announcing the launch period, Team Red didn't provide us with anything. However, new EEC listings (via @harukaze5719) from Acer show the existence of the Radeon RX 9060 XT, and it will reportedly drop in 8 GB and 16 GB VRAM configurations, which is an interesting move by AMD.

AMD's RX 9060 series is said to tackle NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5060 lineup, and the details on the EEC listing indeed validate this claim. The Radeon RX 9060 XT, which comes in two VRAM configurations, shows that this SKU will likely be on par with the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, which, too, is said to come in 8/16 GB models.

It wouldn't be wise to say that AMD is copying NVIDIA's strategy, but the inspiration is definitely there. The listing mentions the presence of Acer Predator Bifrost Radeon RX 9060 XT, and Nitro variants are, well, specific to the RX 9070 series.

While details about AMD's RX 9060 series are slim, the RX 9060 series is expected to employ Navi 44, a budget-oriented GPU silicon, with a VRAM count of up to 16 GB, depending upon how AMD decides to position these models. For now, only two models are expected in the lineup, similar to the RX 9070 lineup. Team Red has confirmed that the lineup is dropping in Q2 2025, so we are expecting somewhere around April, right alongside NVIDIA's 60-class release.
