AMD Releases Radeon RX 6000 “RDNA 2” Graphics Driver After Two Months, Performance Gains & Several Fixes Included

AMD Confirms Radeon RX 7000 Mainstream RDNA 3 GPUs Launching This Quarter 1

AMD has finally released a brand new graphics driver for its Radeon RX 6000 "RDNA 2" GPUs after more than two months of wait.

AMD Software 23.2.1 Graphics Driver Brings Performance Improvements & Bug Fixes For Radeon RX 7000 & RX 6000 GPUs

The last AMD Radeon RX 6000 or RDNA 2 GPU driver was released all the way back in December last year as the company focused its driver efforts on the new Radeon RX 7000 / RDNA 3 GPUs. It looks like the Radeon RX 6000 GPU users can once again enjoy game readiness and improvement across various titles in the latest drivers.

Besides bringing support for both Radeon RX 7000 & Radeon RX 6000 GPUs, the latest AMD driver for graphics cards also adds various fixes and performance improvements which can be seen in the following charts:

Streaming optimizations for H.264 and H.265 help enhance the quality of your stream6 and updates to AMD Link will improve overall connectivity across all supported Radeon products so you can game from anywhere in the world on virtually any device. It is important to note that anyone using AMD Link on an AMD Radeon RX 7900 series graphics card will need to download this new version of AMD Link to continue using this feature.
