AMD's "mid-tier" RDNA 4 GPU, the Radeon RX 9060 XT, is set to launch pretty soon, and more information about its specifications has surfaced online.

AMD's Mid-Tier Radeon RX 9060 XT In Direct Competition With NVIDIA's RTX 5060 Ti, Featuring Similar Spec Sheet

Team Red's RX 9060 lineup is set to compete with NVIDIA's "60-class" series directly by not only offering similar configurations but also performance. While details around the model are slim, we are aware of the fact that the RX 9060 XT will feature 8GB/16GB variants, similar to NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, by not just offering similar configurations. This shows that AMD isn't stopping at all when it comes to competition with NVIDIA in the mainstream GPU market, and now, we have more information on the RX 9060 XT, revealed by Videocardz.

It is claimed that the Radeon RX 9060 XT will launch with 2048 SPs (Stream Processors), which is almost half of what the Radeon RX 9070 XT packs. Along with this, it is claimed that the RX 9060 XT will feature game clocks at 2620 MHz and boost clocks at 3230 MHz, and this figure is expected to go up to 3.3 GHz with custom OC variants. Compared to the generational counterpart, the Radeon RX 7600 XT, the RDNA 4 GPU will indeed feature impressive uplifts.

Apart from this, we know that the Radeon RX 9060 XT will feature the Navi 44 die on a 128-bit bus interface. Recently, we saw Gigabyte listing custom Gaming and Gaming OC editions of the RX 9060 XT with 16 GB and 8 GB memory configurations, alongside multiple GeForce RTX 5060 Ti variants, so it is safe to say that both GPU launches are expected to occur pretty closely. As far as pricing is concerned, we know that the RTX 5060 Ti is rumored to drop at $499/$399, and given that it features higher GDDR7 memory, we should expect the RX 9060 XT to drop at a lower price tag.

For now, the release date of the Radeon RX 9060 XT remains uncertain, but we could expect a formal announcement at Computex, where we'll be reporting live from the showfloor.
