Well, it seems like AMD is now preparing to enter the market with its new Radeon RX 9060 XT series, as retailers start to list down upcoming models.
AMD's RX 9060 XT Is Gearing Up For a Launch This Month at Computex; 16 GB Variant To Get The Spotlight
AMD is gearing up to launch the Radeon RX 9060 series this month, and it is said that the lineup could very well compete with NVIDIA's RTX 5060 Ti, since not only does it feature similar VRAM configurations, but also an identical pricing structure. The leaker @momomo_us has shared what appears to be retail listings of ASUS's Radeon RX 9060 XT 8 GB and 16 GB variants, and not only do these listings show the potential variants ASUS will be introducing, but it is confirmed that an 8 GB model is underway, amid rumors of cancelation.

The retail listings show that the 8 GB model would likely be limited to base variants like the ASUS DUAL, while the 16 GB configuration would feature variants like PRIME and TUF. This validates the fact that the 8 GB configuration willl have a far less retail presence compared to its counterpart, simply because putting such low VRAM in modern-day GPUs doesn't make any sense at all. We already saw the blunder NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB came with, and how the model was significantly held back due to having low memory capacity onboard.
The RX 9060 XT will feature the Navi 44 die on a 128-bit bus interface, coming in both 8GB/16GB configurations, similar to the NVIDIA's approach. Moreover, the GPU is said to feature 2,048 SPs, half of the Radeon RX 9070 XT, with game clocks configured at 2620 MHz and boost clocks at 3230 MHz, so it is safe to say that for 1080p/2K performance, the GPU will surely pack a punch. An official showcase is set for Computex 2025, with retail availability in June.
In terms of pricing, AMD's RX 9060 XT could potentially launch around NVIDIA's RTX 5060 Ti pricing model, and since the real competition would lie with the 16 GB variant, Team Red should launch it under the $429 price tag to get a fair lead.
