Allison Road – P.T. Inspired Survival Horror Title Gets Awesome Gameplay Walkthrough
Allison Road is a first-person survival horror game currently in development by newly founded UK studio Lilith Ltd.
A message from the team:
We’re super excited to show you some gameplay of our Allison Road prototype / pre-Alpha.
These 13 minutes have been put together by our small team of six (that’s including SFX & Music) to showcase where the development of the game is at and to give you a feel for the vibe that we’re going for.
In order to do that without spoiling any of the story we decided to separate it from the actual game, so while this is real gameplay it’s not what you’ll see in the full version of the game.
At this point pretty much all of our core mechanics are in place, however, some actually didn’t make the cut-off for the video;
The inventory is one of those things.
We’ll showcase that at some point in the future.
Everything you see here is work in progress of course; some of the assets are just stand-ins and stuff like that, however, it was important to us to show you what Allison Road looks like when played.
Really hope you like it and if you have any comments please head on over to the facebook page
Allison Road started out as a one-man hobby project back in September 2014, but since then the team has grown to a size of six people. Even though they might not have a big budget, the team includes highly passionate individuals, dedicated to developing to the highest standards with the means available to them.
Studio Lilith consists of the following people:
- Alex Frerich: Programming
- Chris Kesler: Project Lead / Assets
- Gareth Fann: Animation
- Jonas De Ro: SFX
- Marco Genovesi: Composer
- Patrick Schnegg: Programming
Allison Road combines old-school survival horror and adventure game mechanics with next-gen graphics and optional VR support.
In Allison Road you will take on the role of the unnamed protagonist, who wakes up one day without any recollection of prior events.
Over the course of five nights it is your objective to uncover the whereabouts of your family, unravel the mysteries of the house, and face off against Lily and other dark entities that are nested deep within its walls, while the clock is relentlessly ticking towards 3:00am. What would you do if you could feel something stalking you in the dark in the safety of your own home? If you couldn’t tell what’s real and what’s not? The single-player campaign will mostly take place in one British townhouse.
Allison Road definitely looks promising, and something that could fill the need for a P.T. style horror adventure, after the unfortunate cancellation of Silent Hills. We will bring you any new information on Allison Road as soon as it becomes available.
