While plenty of other entries in the series have been released since The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time launched on the Nintendo 64 console, many still consider it one of the best, if not the very best, entries in the series. In some ways, however, the game feels rather dated, but Nintendo doesn't seem to be interested in producing a modern remake of its popular game.

A while back, however, a dedicated fan going by the name of CryZenx decided to do what Nintendo doesn't seem to want to, starting working on a remake powered by Unreal Engine 5. And if the previous showcases looked impressive enough, the new one, which was shared online yesterday, is even more so, as the developer is using the power of the latest version of the engine to implement some new features. Among them is an upgraded Deku tree model, reworked characters, and even a playable Fairy.

Unfortunately, the latest version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Unreal Engine 5.2 remake isn't available publicly, as it is only available to CryZenx Patreon supporters right now. A public release date for this build has yet to be announced, so if you really want to try it out, all you need to do is to subscribe to the developer's Patreon to show support for the amazing work they have been doing.

While Nintendo doesn't seem interested in remaking the game right now, the Japanese publisher already released The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time remake on the Nintendo 3DS, introducing some visual updates and new features which took advantage of the console's unique capabilities. With the series becoming bigger than ever with Breath of the Wild and the soon-to-be-released Tears of the Kingdom, however, Nintendo may finally decide to give players what they want and remake the first 3D entry in their beloved series.
