The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, the latest entry in the series releasing on Nintendo Switch and Wii U, has finally received a release date, and the game has become available for pre-order in all regions. The game has also been made available for pre-order on Amazon Japan, and a new image showcasing the map has emerged online.
The new Zelda Breath of the Wild map image, which can be found right below, has a much better quality than older images so we are finally able to learn more about Hyrule.
New screenshots of the Switch release of the game have also emerged online thanks to Amazon Japan. Needless to say, the game looks stunning.
While the Switch version will obviously look best, the Wii U release won't be all that bad looking, judging from other new screenshots that have emerged thanks to Amazon Japan.
During the Nintendo Switch UK Premiere, our own Dave had the chance to play Zelda Breath of the Wild, noting how the game feels great so far.
The more I get hands-on with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the more I can’t wait to experience the full game. I need to know if the world is truly that grand and impressive, and if the dungeons are actually going to reinvent the Zelda formula, break conventions, or just end up returning to a back-to-basics approach. I’m excited, incredibly so, but how little we know about the game for sure, when it is less than two months away, makes me nervous in and of itself… Only time will tell, but for now, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is my most anticipated game, and will be until it’s finally in my hands!
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launches on March 3rd in all regions.
