Xiaomi has made some really great phones, but the company still has to try a flip phone, and it appears that the company is actively working on it. A new tip has surfaced with interesting information about what to expect from Xiaomi's first flip, and it seems that we are definitely getting our hands on some really great stuff.

The tip suggests that the phone will have really narrow bezels on the front, and the cover display will have substantial space for your apps. There will be two cutouts for the cameras, suggesting that the back will have a dual-camera setup. Furthermore, the tipster also suggested that the prototype that Xiaomi currently has comes with a 4,800 or 4,900 mAh battery, and there is also 67W wired charging. The company is also going to supply the charger.
Moving on, the Xiaomi flip phone will come with the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead of an older or slower chipset. Some rumors in the past suggested that the company would go for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or a MediaTek chipset, but it appears that this is not going to be the case.
As far as the release date is concerned, there is a chance that Xiaomi's first flip phone might be released later this year. We don't know when, but whenever the phone comes out, it will debut in the domestic markets and then make its way to the international market, provided the company actually launches the phone in the international markets.
Whatever the case might be with the first flip phone from Xiaomi, I am looking forward to seeing how it pans out. Based on all the information we have found, it appears to be one of the more promising flip phones that will grace the market. We have not seen a lot of great options in the global market, so I am really hoping that the phone is available to a wider audience this time around. Because Samsung could really use some competition, or else it will just continue churning out the same phone every year with a new name. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is another device we are waiting for, and I am really hoping that both phones will be announced simultaneously.
