The XRING 01 will receive a proper welcome on May 22, with multiple reports stating that it will power a smartphone and a tablet first. For those wanting to see this chipset in action, you will bear witness to it in the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, whose specifications have been revealed prior to the official announcement. On paper, it is quite the powerhouse, while also flaunting a thickness that will make it compete with Apple’s M4 iPad Pro series. As for the remaining details, read on to find out.
More specifications reveal that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra will ship with a humongous 12,000mAh battery, 120W charge support, and more
The XRING 01 has already gone through a Geekbench 6 run, with its single-core and multi-core results nearly matching the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s, indicating that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra will undoubtedly receive the flagship treatment. The company also went all-in to maximize the display size of the tablet, as it features a 14-inch OLED, though we have yet to receive confirmation whether it supports a high refresh rate or not. There is also keyboard and pen support to elevate the notebook substitute experience.

The bezels measure 3.95mm, and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra sports a thickness of 5.1mm, matching the 13-inch M4 iPad Pro’s dimensions in this regard. The bigger footprint also allowed the slate to accommodate a massive 12,000mAh battery, and pairing that with a 120W charge support, it will take significantly less time for the cell to reach full capacity. Given that the XRING 01 is mass produced on TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process, the runtime of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra could be exceptional.
The tablet's weight is listed as 609 grams, with the remaining details kept in the dark for now. The other device that is said to feature the XRING 01 is the Xiaomi 15S Pro. As you would have guessed, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra's pricing and availability details have yet to be disclosed, but with the unveiling happening in two days, we shall potentially know everything there is to know about the internal hardware, so stay tuned.
