A new Xbox wireless controller is launching early next month worldwide, according to rumors circulating online.

Today, billbil-kun, who proved to be extremely reliable regarding gaming leaks, revealed that the controller previously known by the codename Jemez will be called Stormcloud Vapor and will release worldwide early next month, on August 8th. According to the leaker, it will be priced at $69.99, €69.99, and it may be a Forza Motorsport Limited Edition controller. If that is indeed the case, it would be the second time Microsoft releases a Limited Edition controller for one of its upcoming games before the actual game releases in the past weeks, as the Starfield Limited Edition controller is already out a few weeks before the game launches this September.

While billbil-kun proved to be extremely reliable when it comes to leaks, we have to take everything revealed today about the Xbox Stormcloud Vapor controller with a grain of salt until an official announcement comes in. As the controller is apparently releasing in a few days, it shouldn't take too long to get one.

Releasing a Limited Edition Xbox wireless controller to promote Forza Motorsport further seems like a good move for Microsoft, considering the latest entry in the racing series is among the most anticipated Xbox games launching this year.
