Ahead of the Xbox Games Showcase as part of Summer Game Fest 2026, the first batch of Xbox Game Pass games for June 2026 has been revealed, and so far its a wave of indie games to start the month with a heavy-hitting JRPG in Persona 5 Royal. 'So far' is the key phrase though, because it wouldn't be a surprise if there are some shadow-drop reveals set for the upcoming showcase.

Of course, it's never a guarantee, but Xbox has made a habit of including shadow-drop releases in its showcases, with games players can download on the service immediately after they've seen them highlighted in an event. Shadow dropping Ninja Gaiden 2 Black at its 2025 Developer Direct event is arguably the most high-profile example of this, and it wouldn't be a shock to see something of that scale happen again.

Until then, however, we have seven new Game Pass games entering the subscription service, two games already in Game Pass Ultimate shuffling down to Game Pass Premium and five games making their exit as of June 15, 2026. Beginning with the full list of games entering:

The day one launches this month are Solarpunk and Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions, both titles that emphasize survival with other players by your side, with the latter being an early access launch, hence the 'Game Preview' notice for users on consoles.

As for the games making their exit, this month is unfortunately the second month in a row of high-quality titles leaving the service.
