The release of WWE 2K24 is only a couple weeks away, and 2K Games has officially unveiled the game’s launch roster of over 220 Superstars from Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and yesteryear. One of the main questions fans had was how the recent bombshell lawsuit that leveled accusations of sexual coercion, assault, and trafficking against Vince McMahon, while also naming Brock Lesnar, would affect the lineup. Well, it seems neither Vince or Brock are in the game this year. That obviously makes sense, although fans were unsure if the change would be made at this late stage in the game.

The lawsuit aside, there are also some more recent additions to WWE roster not represented, including CM Punk, although that’s fairly normal. Beyond that, it’s a fairly meaty lineup, with the next generation of stars in NXT being particularly well represented (although the current NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria is missing). As usual the Legends list is a somewhat motley crew – do Molly Holly and X-Pac both need two spots? Doink the Clown's in, but, say, Lex Luger isn't? It doesn't pay to think about it too hard.
