[Updated] The Witcher 3 PS4 Gameplay Video Shows Tutorial, Fantastic Environments, Ciri and Yennefer


[Updated] The video has been unfortunately taken down so I replaced it with a couple of new ones.

We have just recently watched the first gameplay footage of the console versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which showcased some great visual quality almost on par with the PC version.

Today some more footage of the game running on the PlayStation 4 has been made available, which features the tutorial and some cutscenes. Some spoilers might be present but considering this is just the beginning of the game the choice of watching it or not remains up to you.

The video does reveal some stunning environments, a young Ciri as well as a younger Geralt and Yennefer. The video was captured with the share feature of the PS4 so the quality is lower than the actual gameplay.

Level Designer Miles Toast revealed tons of interesting new information during a livestream hosted by GoG.com, yesterday. Nvidia has made available the first screenshots from The Witcher 3 that demonstrate Nvidia features like HairWorks and HBAO+.

You can checkout the last Ultra settings 1080p 60fps footage provided by YouTuber ImAnderZEL, as well as the previous video here. Note that the video is not of the highest quality and it from a previous build of The Witcher 3 and not the final. The specs of the system are - GTX 980, i7 4790, 8GB.

The Witcher 3 is just over a week away from release, and as we have previously covered, CD Projekt has already announced that pre-load options are already live, as well as the unlock times for The Witcher 3.
