Microsoft is pushing a new Windows 10 preview build to the Insiders on the Fast ring. Buckle up folks, Gabe Aul was serious when he said we would be seeing preview builds aplenty this year.

Windows 10 preview build 14257 available in the Fast ring:

Preparing to begin a new development cycle, possibly bringing a lot of new features, Microsoft has pushed out a fresh Windows preview build to the Windows Insider members on the Fast ring. It's just been a few days since the last preview build was released with a focus on fixing game-crashing issues and another preview build is already here. The current one seems to be setting up the basics before new features are released.

Teams are still early in their new feature work and changes in this build are mostly about laying the foundation for those features to start coming into builds.

Microsoft's Gabe Aul had said a few weeks back that we will be seeing new features after a few builds. While we await the release of some feature-packed preview build hitting the Insider program, you can now get the Windows 10 14257 if you are on the Fast ring of the Windows Insider program. Take note of the known issues before you proceed, as there seem to be some serious troubles, especially the "Reset this PC" problem for which there is no workaround apart from reinstalling the Windows itself.
