Visions of Mana, the next entry in Square Enix's popular action role-playing game series, is launching in a little over two months on PC and consoles.

A new trailer shared today, which provides a new look at the game's world, characters, and action-based combat system, confirmed an August 29th release date on PC via Steam and Windows Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

Visions of Mana will be the first new entry in the Mana series, Seiken Densetsu in Japan, in over fifteen years. While the story doesn't seem to move past the boundaries set in previous entries in the series, involving a journey to the Tree of Mana to rejuvenate the flow of mana power, the vibrant visuals and a more action-oriented approach to combat are set to make the game stand out from the rest of the series, although it will be interesting to see if it will be able to replicate the quality of some of the best entries in the series like Trials of Mana.

Visions of Mana launches on August 29th on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. More information on the game can be found on its Steam store page.
