A US retailer has listed three different models of Radeon RX 9060 XT on their website, revealing the prices for both variants.
Californian Retailer Adds ASRock RX 9060 XT 8 GB and 16 GB Models on the Website, Starting at $319
Hardly a few days are left before we can see the Radeon RX 9060 XT on shelves for purchase, but retailers have started doing their job in preparing for the launch. It's usual to see retailers worldwide listing various models of GPUs on their websites and this also reveals the possible pricing trend.
A Californian retailer called Central Computers has listed three models of ASRock Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card on their website, belonging to the Challenger and Steel Legend series. One of them is an 8 GB model and the other two are 16 GB cards. The RX 9060 XT CL 8GO is priced at $319 while the RX 9060 XT CL 16GO is listed at $369 and the more premium Steel Legend variant, i.e., the RX 9060 XT SL 16GO, is listed at $389.
The pictures aren't available yet, and you won't be able to buy them until AMD lifts the embargo on the sales. However, you don't need the retailer to upload the pictures to see what they look like since ASRock has officially unveiled these cards. The Challenger series RX 9060 XT boasts a dual-fan design while the Steel Legend offers a triple-fan solution with a white shroud and RGB lighting.
The Challenger series RX 9060 XT 8 GB and 16 GB have identical specs, including a boost clock of 3290 MHz, while the Steel Legend RX 9060 XT 16 GB offers a slightly higher 3320 MHz boost clock. Since these are factory-overclocked, they are more expensive than the base models with 3.13 GHz boost frequency. The Radeon RX 9060 XT 8 GB was launched at $299 while the 16 GB costs $349. You will be paying $20-$40 more on the OC models as per the listing, but the question is whether they will be able to retain the prices at the launch time.
Recent GPU launches have shown that neither AMD nor NVIDIA have been able to deliver the GPUs at their announced MSRPs, not even close. The RTX 50 series and the RX 9070 series have yet to come down to their official MSRP even after months. The RX 9060 series is the only sub-$400 GPU after the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB, but just like the latter, it's unlikely that the 16 GB GPU can remain below $400.
