The Galaxy S24 FE Still Exists, Launch Reportedly Happening Later This Year

It appears that Samsung is really passionate about its Fan Edition devices. The company is looking to go big later this year with multiple devices and affordable foldable phones scheduled. In addition to that, there will also be an affordable smartwatch, Galaxy Buds, tablets, and, of course, Galaxy S24 FE, as today's tip reveals that the phone does exist and will be released later this year.

The Galaxy S24 FE is going to release later this year alongside other Fan Edition devices

A report suggests that Samsung is not looking forward to canceling the Galaxy S24 FE. The phone already has a codename R12, which aligns with previous names that we know about the Fan Edition devices released.

As far as the release date goes, there is no information available at the moment. However, if I am to guess based on Samsung's history, it appears that the Galaxy S23 FE will launch sometime in October this year. Still, I would highly advise that you take it with a grain of salt because Samsung might end up changing its mind and moving the release date closer or further. But the good news is that for those who have been waiting for the device, it certainly is coming.

The last thing that I would like to put some emphasis on is the specs of the phone. We still don't know what the Galaxy S24 FE will offer. With the Galaxy S23 FE, Samsung decided to offer Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, based on the region you were in. Both chipsets were a year older than the device itself, and I am really hoping that this year's Fan Edition will use a more modern offering in terms of the CPU. The rest of the specs will be similar to the base Galaxy S24 models, but that is not a bad thing because those phones are still excellent. You can also expect a full host of Galaxy AI features to use with this device, and I am really looking forward to seeing how it all turns out.
