The action role playing game The Technomancer, developed by French studio Spiders, has been in development for some time, but it won't take much longer for players to finally be able to roam Mars and confront the many deadly creatures that inhabit the planet.

The Technomancer

Earlier today, it's been confirmed that The Technomancer will be released on June 21st for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A new gameplay trailer, taken from the PlayStation 4 version of the game, has also been released and you can check it out right below.

In a post on the Official PlayStation Blog, Spiders' CEO and Creative Director Jeanne Rousseau has shared an overview of The Technomancer, outlining the game's main character, Zachariah, the current situation on Mars and more.

Zachariah is a rookie Technomancer from Abundance, one of the powerful corporations on Mars. Technomancers are formidable warriors harnessing destructive electrical powers channeled through their implants.

Your journey starts at Ophir, capital of Abundance, erected from the remains of the first human settlements in the Ophir Chasma. Picking from three combat stances, you’ll be able to specialize your style of play, making use of the Technomancer’s special electrical abilities to buff yourself or actively attack the many monsters roaming the red planet.

Last week, we had the chance to talk with Jeanne Rousseau about The Technomancer and some of the features that will be included in the game. You can check out the full interview by going here.

We will keep you updated on this interesting action role playing game as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
