Surface Mini Back On The Production Line? New Leak Claims Tablet’s Revival

With the launch of the Surface Pro 3, it finally looked like Microsoft had indeed gotten the hang of tablets. The Surface Pro 3 is indeed an impressive tablets which features several improvements over its predecessors. These come in terms of more processor, storage and RAM, amongst a few others. However, with the Surface Pro 3, Microsoft was also rumored to have another tablet in the works, the Microsoft Surface Mini. The rumors seemed to be just that however, with very little word from the company on the actual existence of the tablet. Well we finally have updates regarding a Surface Mini tablet now, and they come from the ever reliable @evleaks.

Microsoft Surface Mini Is Back In Production - Company Reportedly Gearing For A Summer Release

Not much information has been provided by @eveleaks about the Surface Mini however. The update on the tablet's status comes in the form of a tweet by the insider. "Microsoft Surface Mini is back in production, in anticipation of a summer release.", says @evleaks. Well, if it does turn out to be true then its very good news indeed. The Surface Mini is expected to come featuring a Qualcomm or ARM processor. The display specifications for the tablet are expected to be a 7 inch display with a 1440 x 1080 resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Whether Microsoft will go all out and launch a new operating system with the Surface Mini or stay with the current versions is unknown. However, we can be glad that some word has finally appeared regarding the Surface Mini.
