This year's San Diego Comic Con has finally started, and Nintendo is taking advantage of it to show some of the most anticipated Switch games coming in the next few months, such as Super Mario Odyssey.

A few hours ago, new Super Mario Odyssey direct feed footage has emerged online courtesy of Yoshiller. The new footage gives us another look at New Donk City, one of the main locations of the upcoming game.

Earlier this month, Dave had the chance to try out Super Mario Odyssey, noting how the game has the chance to be one of the best Mario games ever released.

Super Mario Odyssey is thus far filling out to be one of the best Mario games ever – I could nitpick that, for example, the resolution doesn’t seem to be particularly high, but then, the game is aiming for a (mostly) stable 60FPS, which is a lot better than increased pixel density anyway. Assuming Super Mario Odyssey’s quality keeps up throughout, this will be an essential Switch title, and, just perhaps, one of the greatest Mario games of all time.

Super Mario Odyssey launches on Nintendo Switch in all regions on October 27th. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
