Starfield New UI Mods Significantly Improve Inventory, Scanner

A couple of new Starfield mods that were released online in the past couple of days bring significant improvement to the user interface, an area where the game definitely feels a little lacking.

The first new mod, StarUI Inventory, improves all inventory screens with a compact display style, more details on sortable columns, item category items, and other quality-of-life improvements. While the mod is still in an early stage of development and comes with a couple of issues, it's an excellent mod even in its current state and an essential download for any Starfield player.

The second new Starfield mod that improves the user experience is the Scanner Reworked mod, which introduces a cleaner look and smaller icons that prevent screen cluttering. Installing this mod doesn't lock players from earning achievements, much like the StarUI Inventory mod, so make sure to give them a try if you don't like the vanilla game's interface.

Starfield is now available on PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S worldwide. You can learn more about one of the best games Bethesda put out in a long time by checking out my review.

With an engaging story, well-developed characters and lore, and a huge amount of meaningful content, Starfield is one of Bethesda's finest games and one of the best role-playing games released in the past few years. The lack of seamless exploration and real innovation of the typical gameplay formula from the studio are noteworthy, but those willing to forego these issues will find a reactive and sprawling sci-fi universe to lose themselves in for hundreds, if not thousands, of hours.
