To our knowledge, Sony is the only manufacturer that releases smartphones which feature the prodigious 4K resolution. According to the latest rumor, the Japanese phone maker is now intending to announce the Xperia XZ Pro during the month of February, and instead of a 4K panel based on the IPS LCD technology, the device is expected to sport a 4K OLED display.

Dual-Camera Upgrade and Powerful Internals Expected on the Sony Xperia XZ Pro

The Sony Xperia XZ Pro, according to My Drivers, will feature a 5.7-inch 4K OLED panel. The colors might appear more vibrant than before, allowing users to experience better brightness when they are using the handset outdoors. While future consumers will be disappointed that the device will not sport a bezel-less form factor, it might be a blessing underneath.

Phones like the Xperia XZ Premium, which was announced last year came with stereo speakers, and we should expect the same addition on the Xperia XZ Pro. A Snapdragon 845 will obviously be on the cards, but here is something that you guys should pay attention to because this is a first on a Sony flagship. For the first, the device has been rumored to feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

Not just this, but the smartphone has also been rumored to come with an 18MP primary shooter and a 12MP secondary camera to form a dual-camera upgrade. The battery capacity has been leaked as 3,420mAh and the phone will also get IP68 certification. Single and dual-SIM versions should also be present when the smartphone is officially available to purchase.

With all this information available for you guys, what we are unable to inform you guys is the pricing and availability of the phone. Still, with these specifications and the premium chassis, do not expect the Xperia XZ Pro to come with a small price tag.

What do you think of the specifications so far? Are you impressed? Tell us down in the comments.
