Samsung holds various events throughout the year, but the two events that get the most attention cover its flagship smartphones and wearables. The company announced its Galaxy S24 lineup earlier this year, leaving the foldable for the next big announcement. This time, the company's mid-year event will be featuring many key products and upgrades and a new category to potentially include health-related features. We now have a rough estimate of when we should expect the company to host its next Unpacked event in 2024 and what we should expect from it.
Tipster suggests the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 to most likely be held on July 10
According to a tipster named Alvin on X, Samsung will most likely hold its highly anticipated event on July 10, and the venue will be Paris, France. This is not the first time we have heard details on the possible event dates, as numerous reports have pointed to the Mid-Summer event being held early in July. This is the same month the Summer Olympics 2024, for which the tech giant would be the biggest sponsor, is to take place.
Samsung's new generation of foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, will be announced at the event and are expected to come with a revamped design. The Fold 6 is to have a boxier look and let go of the classic rounded corners. This will give the device a fresh look and also take it closer to the design of the S24 lineup. The Flip 6, on the other hand, will feature a redesigned, possibly thinner, hinge mechanism, allowing for an overall sleek look. The outer display will be smaller this time as the company is reverting back from its folder-type display. Internally, both devices will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips and upgraded camera sensors.

Other than the foldable devices, Samsung will also announce the new Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra, which would include many features similar to those of the Apple Watch. The budget Galaxy Watch FE variant will also most likely be unveiled Another product that is looked forward to eagerly by users is the first smart ring by the company. The Galaxy Ring is said to offer upgraded health features and sport capabilities similar to the Oura smart ring.
Samsung will most likely take some time out to announce the new Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro with design tweaks and updates for a better fit. Given the number of wearables expected this year at Unpacked, we anticipate the event to focus on a lot of AI integrations but also be health-centric. We have yet to officially hear confirmation of the event date from Samsung.
