Samsung's labyrinthine corporate structure and the sprawling distribution channels that come with it have apparently become too unwieldy, so much so that secretive corporate strategies are now leaked as soon as they are formulated. However, the developments of the past few hours have been truly astounding even by Samsung's notoriously sieve-like standards, with the unreleased Galaxy S26 Ultra managing to fall into the hands of a tech YouTuber, and a plethora of units are apparently now being peddled on Bangladesh's online stores.

Samsung's already leaky ship just collided with a veritable iceberg, with the Galaxy S26 Ultra rendered as disposable collateral as a result

Perturbed by a seemingly unending spate of high-profile leaks, Samsung recently implemented a new "encrypted chat mode" within its internal communication system. Once switched on, the mode prevents the chats from being copied, saved, or forwarded. Apparently, you can't even take a screenshot of the encrypted chats. Ironically, the details surrounding this secretive chat mode also got leaked, placing huge question marks over the viability of Samsung's overarching strategy.

Those leaks, however, pale in comparison to the developments of the past few hours, where a Dubai-based tech YouTuber, Sahil Karoul, has been able to get his hands on the unreleased Galaxy S26 Ultra. Karoul has shown the unreleased device from almost every angle, including the famous Privacy Display in action. As per Karoul's own admission, his DMs are now filled with queries from tech enthusiasts located in various corners of the globe.

Worse still, an entire batch of Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra devices is now apparently available for purchase on Bangladesh's online stores. Do note that we have been unable to independently verify the authenticity of the wares that are being peddled there.

For the benefit of those who might not be aware, Samsung is scheduled to hold its 'Galaxy Unpacked' event on February 25, where it hopes to formally unveil the Galaxy S26 series. However, with almost everything leaked beforehand, including detailed specs within promo materials and the physical devices themselves, we are not sure exactly how Samsung would be able to enthrall its audience at the said event, not to mention the reputational damage that its brand has just suffered.
