The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series is now rapidly entering its pre-launch frenzy, which is typically characterized by an onslaught of tidbits that delineate the lineup's various design- and feature-related elements.

Now, the fairly respectable tipster, Ice Universe, has just revealed the "official" dimensions for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S26 series.

The Standard Samsung Galaxy S26 is to get a slightly bigger screen, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra is slated to get slimmer

As per the pertinent X post by Ice Universe, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series will sport the following dimensions:

  1. The base Galaxy S26 gets a 6.3-inch screen with frame dimensions of 149.4mm x 71.5mm x 6.9mm.
  2. The Galaxy S26+ gets a 6.7-inch screen with frame dimensions of 158.4mm x 75.8mm x 7.3mm.
  3. The Galaxy S26 Ultra gets a 6.9-inch screen with frame dimensions of 163.6mm x 78.1mm x 7.9mm.

For reference, here are the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series:

  1. The base S25 sports a 6.2-inch screen with overall dimensions of 146.9mm x 70.5mm x 7.2mm.
  2. The S25+ sports a 6.7-inch screen with overall dimensions of 158.4mm x 75.8mm x 7.3mm.
  3. The S25 Ultra features a 6.9-inch screen with overall dimensions of 162.8mm x 77.6mm x 8.2 mm.

As is evident from this comparison, the standard version of the Samsung Galaxy S26 will get a display that is 0.1 inches bigger than the one found on the base S25. Moreover, the standard S26 is also slated to get slimmer by 0.3mm.

Interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy S26+ is expected to retain the same dimensions as its predecessor. This, of course, contradicts the CAD renders recently leaked by the X account @OnLeaks and Android Headlines, showing the frame dimensions of 158.4mm x 75.7mm x 7.35mm for the S26 Plus. Finally, the S26 Ultra is slated to get slimmer by 0.3mm.

Today's tidbit aligns with a previous disclosure by Ice Universe, where the tipster showed a sketch of the base Galaxy S26 to suggest that the variant would be around 4 percent slimmer than its predecessor, and sport a vertical camera island.
