Samsung Display and Intel Join Hands to Bring Cutting-Edge Displays to the AI PC Market
One of the leading display manufacturers, Samsung Display, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Intel for collaboration on making next-gen displays. Due to the surging demand for AI PCs, both companies want to work together to bring cutting-edge displays to the market, bringing better features and optimizations for Intel processors.
With this partnership, both companies are aiming towards creating high-performance IT devices and AI PCs by utilizing Intel processors in Samsung displays. Hojung Lee, Executive VP of Samsung Display, met the VP of Client Computing Group of Intel, David Feng, on 21st February in South Korea to discuss the plans for producing these devices to cater to the demands of consumers.

This collaboration will allow both Samsung Display and Intel to explore new possibilities in high-performance IT devices and premium laptops. As per the press release, this partnership aims to utilize Intel's system-on-a-chip (SoC) technology for Samsung Display's IT OLED panels, which will offer various features to enhance image quality and reduce power consumption.

Samsung Display and Intel will showcase their new technologies at global events, like the AI Media Art Exhibition in Korea, which is going to be held at the Gwanghwamun Kyobo Bookstore Art Space from 21st Feb to 31st March. At the event, we will be able to see Samsung's OLED and QD-OLED products, which are ideal for AI media art.
