At the current list price for the most expensive RTX 5090 GPU, you could buy at least three to four RTX 5090s.

Dubai Retailer Lists ROG Astral RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 Dhahab Editions On Sale for $9,205 and $2,589, Respectively

Yes, it's "Over 9,000". The most expensive RTX 5090 GPU after the actual Gold RTX 5090, which ASUS showcased in China, is now on sale on a UAE-based retailer. While the 5kg Gold RTX 5090 wasn't available for sale, this one is, but it will still cost you an arm and a leg. ASUS's ROG Astral RTX 5090 Dhahab edition, which was launched for $8,000, is now available for purchase on Microless, which is delivering the GPU worldwide for a price tag of $9,250.

However, this price is apparently after a 20% discount, which is, of course, already higher than the official MSRP. The ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Dhahab OC edition was exclusively launched in the Middle East, but it appears that the retailer is willing to ship it worldwide. The GPU boasts a shroud that features a skyline silhouette, Arabic calligraphy, and 6.5g of gold plating. So, that's an additional $700 on the shroud, but of course, ASUS loves to sell overpriced GPUs and will be delivering an ROG Matrix edition soon.

RTX 5090 Dhahab OC brings a boost clock of 2580 MHz and up to 2610 MHz in OC mode, which is identical to the ROG Astral RTX 5090 OC edition. So, performance-wise, don't expect it to be even noticeably faster than the other edition. This is more of a showpiece for those who have no budget constraints, but the ROG Astral RTX 5080 Dhahab CORE OC appears to be much cheaper. We don't know its official MSRP, but Microless listed it for USD 2,589, which is still more than the MSRP of RTX 5090.

The RTX 5080 Dhahab CORE OC brings 2760 MHz of boost clock and up to 2790 MHz in OC mode. It's similar to the ROG Astral RTX 5080 Dhahab in design, and fortunately, you get the same 6.5 grams of Gold plating on this one as well. So, minus the gold plating cost, the GPU costs around $1900, which is less than the GeForce RTX 5090. Maybe ASUS knows that the RTX 5080 doesn't have a big demand, and users who are inclined towards the flagship performance and premium design, like Dhahab, will rather opt for the RTX 5090 Dhahab edition.
