Whether you play it or not, there is no denying that PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular games to be played on phones. Over the past couple of years, it has managed to grow a lot more significantly than some of us thought in the first place. If you own a Galaxy S23 Ultra or the Galaxy S24 Ultra, there is good news for you as the game's future update could introduce 120FPS support on the devices. It is certainly something that many people are looking for because it makes the gameplay a lot smoother.
PUBG Mobile running at 120FPS on flagship phones is definitely going to be a lot of fun
Now, while it might not sound like a big deal because 120FPS is not considered to be something good, in reality, this mode is a lot of fun as it allows for much smoother gameplay, especially when you are playing in the first-person view. With the upcoming version 3.2 of PUBG Mobile, you will be able to enjoy a higher refresh rate on your Galaxy S23 Ultra or the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Now, if you are not familiar, at the moment, PUBG Mobile runs on 90 frames per second on both the Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. I do understand that you might be talking about how 30 more frames is not really going to make a difference, but if you are someone who enjoys fast-paced gaming, 30 frames is going to make a lot of difference, especially when you are in the first-person mode. With that said, we cannot be really sure when the update is going to be available, so the smartest thing to do right now would be to wait for the official update announcement.
There is a possibility that other devices that are running Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 may also get the support for 120FPS. It would be only fair that every device gets the same treatment when it comes to a high refresh rate mode on PUBG Mobile. I have a feeling that this mode is going to be introduced as a larger update that will bring a number of other changes, too. Whatever happens, we will keep you posted once it applies.
Do you think PUBG Mobile's 120FPS refresh rate should be available on other flagship devices, too? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
