In around 2 days, Sony will officially detail its upcoming PlayStation 4 Neo console. Two months ago, the console's specs have been leaked online, and many were wondering if the leaked specs were the final ones. Judging from what has been revealed today, that does seem to be the case.

Daniel Ahmad, also known as ZhugeEX, stated on his Twitter profile earlier today that those who are expecting the PlayStation 4 Neo to have a huge spec boost over the leaked specs are going to be disappointed, hinting that the leaked ones are actually the final specs.

Despite everything, it seems like the PlayStation 4 Neo will indeed be able to handle 4K in some capacity. In another tweet, Daniel Ahmad talked about a demo on a new engine developed by a Japanese company which can run at 4K/ 30 FPS, 1080p/90FPS on PlayStation Neo.

While Daniel Ahmad has proven to have inside knowledge in the past, we must still treat all he said today as a rumor until an official confirmed comes in. With the PlayStation Meeting happening soon, we won't have to wait much longer to learn more about the PlayStation 4 Neo and what it will be able to do.

The PlayStation Neo isn't the only new console Sony is launching in the future. The PlayStation 4 Slim, which is already in the hands of some lucky players, is also going to be unveiled this week.

The PlayStation 4 Neo and PlayStation 4 Slim will be fully unveiled during the PlayStation Meeting, which is being held in New York this week, on September 7th. We will keep you updated on Sony's upcoming consoles as soon as more comes in on them, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
