Pixel 10 renders reveal similar design

The Google Pixel series succumbs to various speculations, giving away key details about the models. This time around, besides the possible huge leap of the tech giant opting for Tensor G5, there has not been much out to give us a glimpse of what we can expect from the upcoming Pixel 10 series. A new leak, however, is here to give us a preview of all three models, and from the first look at the renders, they look quite familiar.

Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL CAD renders reveal Google opting for a similar design to the predecessors

Google seems to be sticking to its design and maintaining the aesthetics of the Pixel 9 series, bringing only incremental changes to the models. As we wait for the Pixel 9a launch, renders reveal the design and other hardware elements of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The CAD images shared by Android Headlines via OnLeaks, also share the dimensions of the upcoming series.

While Google brought some noteworthy upgrades to the Pixel 9 series, the approach with new models is not the same, as the company wants to stick to the design for a bit longer. Starting with Pixel 10 renders, you can immediately notice how the flat edges remain the same, and bezels do not appear much different. However, the slightly curved edges would make the ergonomics better. The Pixel 10 will feature a 6.3-inch display. When it comes to the dimensions, the Pixel 10 will stand at 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm, which is about 0.1mm thicker than the official dimensions of the Pixel 9. It could be attributed to a thicker glass rather than any other internal change. One major change would be the triple camera setup for the Pixel 10, as the Pixel 9 featured a dual camera layout.

Pixel 10 Pro renders show that the upcoming model's dimensions would be the same as those of the Pixel 9 Pro, measuring 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm. This emphasizes how the company might be focused on internal changes rather than drastic external upgrades. The display would also remain similar to its predecessor. While the Pixel 10 Pro is to feature the same triple-camera layout, the model is expected to have a glossy finish instead of a matte look.

On the other hand, the Pixel 10 Pro XL would stand at 162. 7 x 8.5mm and would be 0.1mm shorter than the Pixel 9 Pro XL. However, the thickness would remain the same. Similarly, the display size would also be continued for the model featuring a 6.8-inch screen. The Pixel 10 series is expected to come with the Tensor G5, which is a huge jump for Google. It would be the company's first fully custom chipset manufactured by TSMC instead of Samsung and would bring about significant performance upgrades.

Google's Pixel 10 series seems to be focused on internal changes rather than external ones, and it seems that it is not willing to make any major design shifts yet. Regardless, we will be sure to share more details that will emerge as the launch date approaches.
