Philips Launches 24B2D5300, A Dual-Sided Standalone Business Monitor With Screens on Both Sides for Businesses

Regular monitors have some caveats in businesses, where you need to show the content to the person standing behind the monitor, but popular monitor maker Philips has successfully developed a solution for such scenarios. Philips has launched 24B2D5300, a new business monitor that brings a dual-sided design to help in various types of workflows.

Philips 24B2D5300 brings a dual-screen configuration, one on each side, allowing users to share the screen or split the work on both for more convenient usage. Typically, a single screen is limited in spaces like cash counters, offices, or businesses, where one needs to show relevant content to the customer, but the 24B2D5300 will allow showing personalized items, interactive apps, and purchase details. Unlike a conventional monitor, the tasks can be distributed in a variety of ways on both screens of the 24B2D5300.

The Philips 24B2D5300 allows either mirroring the primary screen or extending or splitting the workloads on different screens. It's just like a dual-stack portable monitor, which allows operating screens as individual displays or a single screen that can show the same information or extend/split the workloads. The 24B2D5300 uses a 24-inch display size on each side, featuring up to 120 Hz of refresh rate, making movements super smooth.

Each display can boast a resolution of up to 1080p on an IPS panel, delivering sharper and more detailed visuals that are crucial in businesses. Both displays offer a USB Type-C port and an HDMI port as well, allowing users to set up the monitor as per their requirements. Philips says that the 24B2D5300 dual-sided monitor is ideal for environments like reception areas, banks, healthcare facilities, and service counters, allowing a better check-in process, easier customer interactions, and secure handling of sensitive data.

The Philips 24B2D5300 has been launched at a price of £359.99 and will start shipping in June, 2026.
