February 2027 is setting out to be a month to remember for role-playing game fans all over the world, as it will see Fable and Persona 4 Revival square off in the span of a few days.
A new trailer shown during the Xbox Games Showcase confirmed that the remake of the fourth entry in the series by Atlus will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 18, 2027, as previously rumored. This is the same day Fable will become available in early access reserved for those with the Premium Edition, and 5 days before its full release, which is sure to force some to pick one game over the other.
Besides confirming its release date, the new Persona 4 Revival trailer finally delivered a better look at the game following last year's short teaser. As expected, the game will feature a new voice cast and new music that retain the signature style of the original.
In addition, the new trailer revealed how Atlus is taking a different direction from Persona 3 Reload, with the content added to the game with updated releases. While the remake of the third entry in the series featured Aigis's The Answer campaign as a separate DLC, Persona 4 Revival seems to be based on the Golden PS Vita port, as its exclusive character, Marie, is shown in the trailer.
As the trailer served as an overview of the game, we are sure to learn more about what Persona 4 Revival will bring to the table when it launches this coming February. However, the pull of Inaba and its mysteries remains undeniable, making the game a good one to play as fans of the series wait for the reveal of the sixth entry in the series, whose first look arrived today as well
