It's Patch Tuesday, which means Microsoft is pushing out new updates to the non-Insider users of Windows 10 PC.

Patch Tuesday: Windows 10 Cumulative Update

Microsoft has started rolling out a new cumulative update for Windows 10 desktop owners running version 1511. The latest update takes the non-Insider Windows 10 build up to 10586.122 with the support number KB3140743. The changelog says:

This update includes improvements to enhance the functionality of Windows 10 Version 1511 and Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 4.

Along with the standard cumulative update for Windows 10 PC, Microsoft is also pushing out a service stack update for Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 4 this Patch Tuesday;

This update makes stability improvements for Windows 10 Version 1511 and Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 4 servicing stack.

You can go Settings > Update & security > Windows update > Check for update to manually check for the latest cumulative updates. Once installed, you will need to restart your PC after installing these updates. For more details, please check Microsoft's support page.

Earlier, new statistics from Net Applications revealed the latest market share of Windows 10 desktop which is steadily getting new users. While Windows 7 is still the most used desktop operating system, with Windows 10 Redstone updates slated to start releasing this summer, it is expected that more users will be upgrading to the latest operating system. Windows 10 global market share has now gone up to nearly 13% up from 10% in December 2015.
