A new Operation FlashPoint game has been confirmed by the Official Xbox Magazine and its going to deliver the same realistic warfare as seen in the previous one. The game is named Operation FlashPoint: Red River and will be released in 2011.
The game will solve some issues seen in the previous game and according to OXM, the game is looking to be "tighter" and "more focused." than Dragon Rising, However the realistic war experience where you can literally die at any time without warning.
"Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising was tremendously ambitious, but struggled to deliver," OXM editor Jon Hicks told CVG.
"So we were pleased to see that the sequel is a tighter, more focused game that's nevertheless still striving for a more realistic recreation of warfare."
