The OnePlus 12 comes out tomorrow and so far, all the information that we have received on the new phone indicates that we have something special on our hands. There is no denying that the upcoming flagship seems everything a user would want and then some.
OnePlus 12 maxes out at 24 gigs of RAM and 1TB of super-fast storage
A lot of details about the phone have leaked in previous weeks, and today, we have another leak showing hands-on images of the OnePlus 12 in the white colorway, along with confirming key specs of the phone.
So, let's get the obvious out of the way: the OnePlus 12 does look identical to the OnePlus 11, which I believe is a good thing because the company now finally has a design language that it can build upon and perfect. The glossy white color does look good, but the black and green are the ones that have my heart.
The images also confirm a number of key details about the OnePlus 12, including the display size at 6.82-inch, 24 gigs of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a sizeable 5,400 mAh battery that should support 100W charging. The phone appears to be the Chinese variant running ColorOS 14 based on Android 14.
All signs point towards a pretty beefy flagship from OnePlus. Of course, the OnePlus 12 will be available in other memory and storage configurations as well, but if you are looking for the top-tier variant, this is the way to go. I do understand that 24 gigs of memory are something that one would need if they are looking to use on-device AI generation without any hiccups. The phone is also going to sport the same camera sensors found on the OnePlus Open, which are already excellent, so you really will not have any issues with taking your photography to the next level.
OnePlus 12 launches tomorrow in China, followed by an international launch sometime in January 2024. The phone will be available in Black, Green, and White and will also have some iconic official cases in various finishes that you can get your hands on.
