OneXPlayer G1 was teased a month ago, showing its versatility and unique ability to convert into a regular gaming handheld or a mini-laptop. We were able to gather some info about the handheld, but it wasn't detailed, as the video didn't reveal much of its specs and features. Thankfully, today, ONE-NETBOOK has revealed the handheld design, specifications, and features in some detail.

The OneXPlayer G1 will be powered by the AMD Strix Point, Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU. ONE-NETBOOK was the first to utilize this APU in its OneXFly F1 Pro gaming handheld, available in various configurations. The OneXPlayer G1 is a unique iteration of the same, which brings a dedicated and detachable keyboard to convert it into a mini laptop, or one can remove it to play the game with the controller. The screen size is 8.8 inches, and the total weight of the handheld is 900 grams, which is a bit higher than regular handhelds like Steam Deck, ROG Ally X, and such.

After removing the keyboard, a small one will still be visible for miscellaneous functions, but a dedicated built-in controller will be available on the base, featuring dual joysticks, face buttons, D-pad, and some additional buttons. The controller has an RGB backlit, and so does the detachable keyboard. Apart from the external look, the OneXPlayer G1 has a high-speed LPDDR5X memory clocked at 7500 MT/s and will boast an SSD for storage. The capacities for RAM and storage aren't known yet, but it could go up to 32 GB for the RAM and at least 1 TB for the storage.

As per the company, the OneXPlayer G1 can serve gaming and productivity purposes and can be carried easily anywhere inside a loose pocket. OneXPlayer G1 will be launched on Indiegogo in early January for crowdfunding.
