NVIDIA's upcoming RTX 5060 series GPUs are the next in the Blackwell lineup and are due for launch in a couple of days if we go by the recent reports. However, NVIDIA hasn't confirmed the launch yet, but it seems like retailers have already started preparations for the launch.

As reported by Videocardz, a Chinese retailer listed both the GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti, revealing their initial prices. Keep in mind that these are early prices and are subject to change and, as per the prices of the RTX 5070, the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti are surely significantly higher than what you would expect.

Before delving into the prices, it's a surprise to see the GeForce RTX 5060 listed with '12 GB' of VRAM capacity. We know from previous leaks that the RTX 5060 is going to ship with 8 GB GDDR7 VRAM capacity and this is the first-ever report indicating that the RTX 5060 could have 12 GB of memory. This could also be a mistake, but it's not impossible for NVIDIA to use the 3GB GDDR7 modules.

While the RTX 5060 Ti is expected to stick to both 8 GB and 16 GB memory capacities, the RTX 5060 could bring both 8 GB and 12 GB memory configurations. This would be exactly how the company went with the GeForce RTX 3060, but in the latter case, the company went with a higher 192-bit bus for the 12 GB edition. This time, the RTX 5060 won't likely get a 192-bit bus but will instead stick with a 128-bit memory interface.

Nonetheless, it would be interesting to see a 12 GB RTX 5060 since 8 GB cards are becoming obsolete, and assuming the RTX 5060 will cost around $300, the RTX 5060 8 GB will throttle the performance of some titles. Concerning the RTX 5060 specs, as per a solid report, the RTX 5060 will feature 8 GB GDDR7 VRAM, 3840 CUDA Cores, and a TDP of 150W, while the RTX 5060 Ti will feature 8/16GB GDDR7 VRAM, 4608 Cores and a TDP of 180W.

In case you are wondering if the RTX 5060 will cost $300 or more, then the answer is unclear as of now. The leak does list the price of the card as 3,799 RMB, but it's over US$500 and is unlikely to be the price tag NVIDIA will apply on the RTX 5060. Similarly, the RTX 5060 Ti is listed for 4,299 RMB, which translates to over US$650, which again doesn't seem logical.
