NVIDIA Responds To Bricked RTX 5090/5090D GPUs, Says It Is "Investigating" The Reported Issues 1

Several NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 "Founders Edition" GPUs seem to be missing from the official store page, though the reason remains unknown.

GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 Founders Edition GPUs Reportedly Discontinued by NVIDIA, Except for a Few Countries; Only RTX 5070 FE Remains in Some Stores

The Blackwell RTX 50 series Founders Edition cards are no longer listed at NVIDIA's official marketplace, as can be seen on the website. It's unusual to see the Founders Edition no longer listed, and it's unclear what the reason might be or if they will relist them in the near future.

As of now, most NVIDIA Marketplace stores don't list the GeForce RTX 5090 FE and RTX 5080 FE, but one can still buy the GeForce RTX 5070 FE from the stores.

NVIDIA hasn't officially declared the EOL for the FE GPUs, and usually, when it doesn't have the GPUs in stock, it simply mentions it on the product pages. However, the removal of the listings indicates that either the FE cards are out of stock or something else is going on. Upon quick research, we found that in some countries, you may find the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 FE in stores. For instance, in Germany, the NVIDIA marketplace lists both GeForce RTX 5080 FE and RTX 5070 FE cards.

The US website, on the other hand, doesn't have the RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 FE. Similarly, on the NVIDIA UK marketplace, we only have the GeForce RTX 5070 FE listed, but on NVIDIA Canada, none of the RTX 50 FE editions exist. However, the NVIDIA India marketplace, surprisingly, has all the RTX 50 Founders Edition cards listed. So, the availability currently differs from one region to another. But it's possible that NVIDIA may delist the FE cards from all the stores around the world, or may get them listed back if it's a temporary thing.

Some rumors suggest that this indicates NVIDIA might be preparing for the RTX 50 "Super" series, but we have debunked that recently. NVIDIA isn't preparing the Super series at the moment and is unlikely to launch it even at CES 2026.
