NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 GPUs, including the RTX 5090, are now seeing reduced MSRP as prices drop due to the strengthening of regional currencies.
NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5090 Now Available For 7% Lower As RTX 50 Lineup Sees Reduced MSRPs Thanks To Changes In Regional Currencies, Price Drops Expected In Retail Segment Soon
Over the last couple of months, both European and UK currencies, the Euro & Pound, have strengthened against the US Dollar. This change of exchange rate has prompted NVIDIA to make some changes to the MSRPs of its latest GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs.

Starting with the UK, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 is currently priced at £1,799, down from £1939 at its launch. The RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5060 Ti are the only models that didn't receive any change in MSRP, but we can expect some retailers to adjust them. The rest of the lineup has also seen similar changes with the new MSRPs listed below:
- RTX 5090 -> £1799 (-7.2% vs Launch MSRP)
- RTX 5080 -> £909 (-7.2% vs Launch MSRP)
- RTX 5070 Ti -> £729 (No Change vs Launch MSRP)
- RTX 5070 -> £499 (-7.4% vs Launch MSRP)
- RTX 5060 Ti -> £349 (No Change vs Launch MSRP)

As for the European market, NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5090 is seeing a -9.9% drop in pricing, the highest amongst the RTX 50 series in Europe. The full lineup changes are listed below:
- RTX 5090 -> €2099 (-9.9% vs Launch MSRP)
- RTX 5080 -> €1059 (-9.4% vs Launch MSRP)
- RTX 5070 Ti -> €879 (No Change vs Launch MSRP)
- RTX 5070 -> €589 (-9.2% vs Launch MSRP)
- RTX 5060 Ti -> €399 (No Change vs Launch MSRP)
- RTX 5060 -> €319 (No Change vs Launch MSRP)

The prices are once again due to changes in currency, and not official price cuts, which can be attributed outside of such changes. That's apparent from the US listing, which still shows the same MSRPs as launch prices:
- RTX 5090 -> $1999 US
- RTX 5080 -> $999 US
- RTX 5070 Ti -> $749 US
- RTX 5070 -> $549 US
- RTX 5060 Ti -> $379 US
- RTX 5060 -> $249 US

We have also seen that while US prices remain close to the MSRP, certain models have definitely been seen on retail with lower than MSRP discounts, and flagship models such as the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 are now available closer to MSRP. Their prices were previously around $2500-$3000 US for the 5090 and $1350-$1500 for the RTX 5080. Hopefully, we will see further price adjustments and discounts since the holiday season starts in Q4 2025, which is a few months away.
