NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU is already selling below its MSRP in Poland just a day after its launch and is still up for grabs.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU Is Priced Below MSRP Just A Day After Its Launch

Yesterday, NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU officially hit retail shelves. The card offers great performance, often matching the RTX 4070 Ti for $200 US less at a retail MSRP of $599 US. The GPU is very well positioned against the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and comes in various custom designs & also a handful of models that stick to the MSRP as we covered here yesterday.

Now, it looks like the exchange rates in certain regions have prompted the newly released GPU to be listed below its MSRP on retail outlets. Poland is the first example of this case where although the GPU costs 2999 PLN, the prices at certain Polish retailers are now slightly below MSRP with the cheapest model available for 2849 PLN or a -5% drop compared to the MSRP. There are a few GPU variants of the 4070 SUPER listed below MSRP at Polish retailer, X-KOM, which include:

The cheapest Non-SUPER NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU that's listed by the retailer is priced at 2599 PLN so that's -9% cheaper than the RTX 4070 SUPER but the SUPER variant does offer much better performance, sometimes up to 20%, and mostly averaging out around 15% so it's better to purchase the new graphics card. Meanwhile, the cheapest AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT costs 2539 PLN at the same retailer.

Besides Poland, Austrian, German & Czech-based retailers are also listing the cards at prices below the 659 Euro MSRP. Austrian retailer, Di-Tech, has the cheapest model from Gainward listed at 629 Euros whereas German retailer, Hardwarecamp24, has the cheapest model from Palit listed at 654 Euros.

For those of you who can find an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU below its MSRP at a retailer next to you, then it's an even better deal over the Non-SUPER 4070 and the 7800 XT graphics cards. The long-term plan for NVIDIA would be to slowly implement a price reduction for the SUPER 4070 down to $549 US as inventories of the Non-SUPER variant run dry.
