Noctua delayed the launch of some of its products, including fans and CPU coolers, including the NH-D15 G2, by a few months.
Noctua CPU Coolers and Fans Have Been Delayed by Several Months as Unveiled in the Latest Roadmap
If you are familiar with Noctua's products, you might be aware that the company releases refreshed products regularly to keep up with users' demands while offering full compatibility with the latest released PC hardware. Some of its best CPU coolers, like NH-D15, have been revised multiple times and so have the fans.
The company usually shares its complete product roadmap at the beginning of each year. However, it looks like this time it has delayed quite several products by a span of several months. For instance, the chromax.black version of NH-D15 G2 was originally planned to launch in Q2, which has now been shifted to Q3.
Then there is the Next-gen 120mm fan, which has shifted from Q1 to Q2. The chromax.black version of NF-A14x25(r) G2 has also been rescheduled from Q1 to Q3 and the same goes for the chromax.black version of the next-gen 120mm fan, which will now be launched in Q4 instead of Q1.
As per the report, the next-gen dual tower CPU cooler has probably been moved to 2026 as the product no longer exists on the 2025 roadmap. It's unclear why Noctua might have delayed the launch of these products, but thankfully, the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition re-stock is going to follow the original plans.
If you remember, the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edtino was launched at the end of November 2024, and debuted as a premium offering that came as a collaboration between two companies. With a Titanium rating and the latest ATX 3.1 compliance, it's ready to be deployed in high-end gaming builds, consisting of GPUs such as RTX 5090/4090.
Coming back to the delays, Noctua says that it can't provide 'explanations' for the causes of delays but cites polishing or refinement as one of the reasons for such delays. That said, the products will be introduced at Computex Taipei, where the company might disclose more crucial information about its new offerings.
