Ni No Kuni II The Lair of the Lost Lord DLC Detailed; Adds New Dungeon, Quests And More

Bandai Namco revealed today new details on the second major DLC coming to Ni No Kuni II Revenant Kingdom, the JRPG released on PC and PlayStation 4 earlier this year.

The new DLC will be called The Lair of the Lost Lord, and it will add a brand new dungeon, a new Material Method system, new quests and items and more.

  • Labyrinth – This new dungeon in the Rubby Ruins is ruled by the Prince of Wraiths who plans on destroying Evermore, Evan’s newly created kingdom. Evan and his friends must step into this mysterious dungeon and stop the Prince of Wraiths before his kingdom is destroyed.

 

  • Material Method system – The new Material Method system enhances the player’s battle style. It seems to be obtained from memories of people Evan meets through his journey. What sorts of changes can the Material Method include? Stay tuned for more information.

 

  • New quests and items – More than 80 new weapons and armor will be added into the game while new quests will help provide back stories to Evan’s friends.

A release date for The Lair of the Lost Lord has yet to be confirmed, but the Japanese publisher confirmed it will be out this Winter. The DLC is also part of the Season Pass, so those who purchased it won't have to buy it separately.

The previous Ni No Kuni II DLC, the Adventure Pack, has been released back in August. The DLC pack added new challenges, new bosses and more.
