The next PlayStation State of Play presentation isn't too far off in the future, according to rumors circulating online today.

Nate the Hate, who correctly revealed the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal date earlier this week, teased today that the next Sony presentation is set for February without adding much more, so there's no way to know if it will focus on first-party or third-party games.

The latest PlayStation State of Play presentation was held back in September 2024, focusing mostly on third-party games and expansions of already released titles such as Alan Wake II and Stellar Blade. While light in terms of first-party titles, the presentation did feature the big announcement of Ghost of Yotei, the sequel to the acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima that will be released later this year on PlayStation 5. With some other big games expected to be released during the next 12 months on PlayStation 5, such as Kojima Productions' Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the next State of Play presentation should hold plenty of exciting showings and reveals.

While Nate the Hate has proven to be reliable in the past, we have to take what has been revealed today with a grain of salt until the next PlayStation State of Play is indeed confirmed for February. We will let you know more about the matter as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
