The Pixel 9 series is still a couple of months away from going official. Google could unveil the phones later this month at Google I/O 2024. Amidst all the leaks we have seen so far, the one that has intrigued me the most is that Google could launch three Pixel models this year. The standard variant, the Pro variant, and an XL variant for those who are looking for something bigger.
Pixel 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro XL are the phones that Google will be releasing this year
Today, we have the cases for the upcoming Pixel 9 series. Android Central managed to get its hands on the cases from Thinborne, a popular case-maker that is known for making robust, thin, and light cases out of aramid fiber. These cases show that Google has three different variants in store for us this time around, which confirms the past rumors, and at this point, it is more than safe to say that we will see three phones. You can look at the cases below:
The Pixel 9 cases that we are looking at more than confirm what the phones will look like. They also confirm that Google is looking to launch three devices later this year. All three phones are going to be interesting, and I am really excited to see how Google will run with Samsung's strategy because we might really get some interesting products on our hands from the Mount View giant.
The Pixel 9 series is supposed to be released sometime in October or later this year. However, it is worth noting that considering how Google I/O 2024 is just around the corner, we might see the company officially unveil these devices because, of course, this is something that we can always expect from Google. As far as the specs are concerned, you can expect the Tensor G4 and a heap of new and improved AI-based features, so we will have to wait and see what we will get from Google this year.
