Mortal Kombat 11 is soon going to receive DLC characters, and we are apparently going to learn who they are next week.

On his Official Twitter Profile, series co-creator Ed Boon confirmed that we may be getting an MK 11 DLC characters reveal next week if everything goes well.

The first of the Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters has already been confirmed before the game released, the sorcerer Shang Tsung, who made his debut in the series in the very first entry as the game's final boss. A leaked list surfaced online last month suggests that there will be both returning characters and guests.

Mortal Kombat 11 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in all regions. The game is a worthy entry in the series and one of the best fighting games released in recent years.

Mortal Kombat 11 is a first-class fighting game experience, featuring rock-solid core mechanics, impressive production values, and a story that wouldn’t be out of place alongside the summer’s biggest blockbusters. Of course, the game also suffers from some of the drawbacks of big-budget game development, including grindy customization and tacked-on microtransactions, but that stuff is largely superfluous. Beneath the triple-A fat, Mortal Kombat’s bloody heart still beats as strong as ever.
