Monster Hunter World Iceborne Expansion To Release In September for Consoles, Winter for PC

It's been a few months since the announcement of the Monster Hunter World expansion Iceborne, but finally, Capcom has confirmed when the new content will hit its popular game.

Iceborne will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6th in all regions. The PC version will be released at a later time.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is a brand new expansion for Monster Hunter: World.

A new world awaits, with more powerful monsters, and challenging master rank quests!

Your mission: to investigate an unexplored locale.

The Research Commission ventures out into a new ice-cold region known as the "Hoarfrost Reach."
This new region is completely unexplored, so discovering new monsters and endemic life will be one of the Commission's most important goals.

The base game will be required to play the Iceborne expansion, but Capcom confirmed that they will release a Master Edition of the game which will include both base game and the expansion.

Monster Hunter World is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in all regions. Iceborn will be released on September 6th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the expansion coming at a later date on PC.
