Yesterday has been a great day for fans of the Mass Effect series, as BioWare not only finally confirmed the Mass Effect Andromeda release date but also showed more of the game in action during NVIDIA CES keynote. For those waiting to get back into the series after so long, however, this wasn't enough, so members of the development team are continuing to answer fans' questions as often as possible.

A few hours ago, Mass Effect Andromeda Lead Designer Ian Frazier revealed some additional details on the game. First, he revealed some new details on the PC version controller support, which will allow players to seamlessly switch between controller and mouse and keyboard.

Ian Frazier also talked about companions, confirming that they will always follow the player while exploring locations, and go off and do their thing while in hubs.

While exploring hostile worlds, companions won't all don fully sealed suits and helmets like in the original Mass Effect, as it will be character dependent like in Mass Effect 2 and 3.

Characters' personalities will also emerge during combat, as the Ryder siblings and active party members will sometimes make comments during battles.

Mass Effect Andromeda launches on March 21st on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. More on the highly anticipated role-playing game by BioWare will surely be coming soon, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
