Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Requires Almost 100 GB of Free Storage Space

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is going to require quite a bit of free storage space, according to new information that surfaced online today.

As reported by Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Countdown on X/Twitter, the second entry in the series by Insomniac will require a minimum of 98 GB of free storage space, as confirmed by the retail box of the soon-to-be-released PlayStation 5 Limited Edition console bundle retail box. With the patches that are surely going to be released for the game after its release, the total free storage space required by the game is likely to be more than the minimum size revealed today.

While Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches in just a few weeks, there's still a lot we do not know about the game. Earlier this month, Sony revealed some information about the game's display modes before promptly removing it. According to the now scraped information, the game by Insomniac will come with Fidelity and Performance display modes for 30 FPS and 60 FPS gameplay, HDR support, and options to adjust brightness, contrast, Film Grain, Motion Blur, and Chromatic Aberration.
